Well-known for its Duck Drumstick Noodle, Wan Ton Noodle and not forgetting the all time famous Chicken Biscuit and Shat Kek Ma.
compare with my previous experience at the same place having the same Duck Drumstick Noodle, this time i feel it's not as soft as (>5)years ago.
In May 2008, Pun Chun Noodle House was set up in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam. Just like the original, Pun Chun Noodle House offers the same mouth watering cuisines. KLites can now easily satisfy their cravings for a sumptuous meal within the Klang Valley vicinity itself. Kota Kemuning is located approximately 20 minutes from Subang Jaya and 30 minutes from Petaling Jaya via major expressways.

The Sam Po Tong Buddhist Cave Temple is one of Ipoh's most famous cave temple.
The entrance hides a narrow cave tunnel to an wodded opening where a pond of aged tortises are fed by visitors. The ragged appearence of this temple compound belies the age and importance of this site. As can be seen in the aerial photo, the mining of limestone nearby continues to threaten this cave temple.
Sam Poh Tong is a famous cave temple located in Gunung Rapat, about 5km south of Ipoh. It is said to be the biggest cave temple in the country, and is an impressive work of art and faith, with various statues of Buddha interspersed among the stalactites and stalagmites.
According to legend, the cave was discovered in 1890 by a monk from China who was passing through Ipoh; he decided to make it his domicile and a place for meditation. He remained there for 20 years until his death. Till today, nuns and monks who dedicate their lives to Buddha still occupy the Sam Poh Tong.
The present temple facade dates back to the 1950s and a stiff climb of 246 steps will lead you to an open cave with an excellent view of Ipoh and its surroundings. Other attractions at the temple include a beautiful Japanese pond full of Japanese carps and tortoises (symbols of longevity) located outside the cave and a vegetarian restaurant.

It is located at 8km northeast of Ipoh, beside a lake, at the base of a limestone cliff. These natural thermal springs have various hot pools. There is a charge for taking water. The bath is open daily from 3.00 pm to 12.00 midnight. The facilities include saunas and restrooms Entrance fee is RIM 5.00. Regular buses form Ipoh’s city bus station to Tanjung Rambutan pass the hot springs.
Other hot springs in Perak are at Sungkai, Pengkalan Hulu, Kampung Ulu Slim in Slim River, Kampung Air Panas in Grik and Manong in Kuala Kangsar.
when we arrived Tambun Area, we couldn't see the Hot Spring signboad toward Hot Spring area but we saw Lost World of Tambun Water Park at SunCity Ipoh
the resident over there inform us that Sunway builded and suround the hot spring while we stop our vehicle ask them.

i found the latest info from the net about the direction toward the hot spring: if you are coming from Ipoh city, take Jalan Raja DiHilir (formerly Jalan Tambun) out of town.
If you are coming from the North-South Highway, exit at Ipoh Selatan, take Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah towards Ipoh. After passing Tesco and Jaya Jusco (both on your left), stay left and turn left at the next traffic lights (corner of Pantai Putri Hospital).
If you are coming from the south (i.e. Gopeng, Simpang Pulai etc), take Jalan Gopeng towards Ipoh, turn right under the new flyover into Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah Selatan (formerly Tiger Lane). The second set of traffic lights would be the same junction of Pantai Putri Hospital. Turn right.
Either way, follow the road signs to "Tambun", "Sunway City Ipoh" or "Giant" (the hypermarket).
You will pass Tambun town (where the famous Tambun pameloes come from and can still be found at stalls by the road side). Two kilometers after the town, you will pass traffic lights at the start of "Sunway City Ipoh" on the right. Go straight and as you pass "Giant" (on your right) take the right turn into Sunway City Ipoh (the left will take you towards Tanjung Rambutan). You will now be facing "Lost City" (a water theme park one km in front). Go straight and just after the traffic lights (right for the theme park and golf driving range), a tiny road on the right leads to the "commercialized" hot springs at the foot of a limestone hill.
If you are coming from Tanjong Rambutan (north to south), the springs are located about eight km towards Ipoh. As you enter the Sunway development (shop and factory lots, within sight of "Giant") stay left and watch out for the tiny road just before the golf driving range and theme park.

With the flaky pastry shells, the egg tart looks like it would fall apart any time. Handle with care, it exclaimed. I was expecting a somehow gooey smooth and silky egg custard but it falls short of my expectation.

Enough said about the aromatic white coffee at Nam Heong. I’m going to introduce this particular dim sum stall that gained their popularity through the hot selling egg tarts and cha siu pastry. It is rare to see patrons that can resist the buttery-smelling pastry. Over 1000 tarts are sold on normal days but the sales shot up to double during public holidays.

Well I think everyone should know that Bean Sprouts Chicken is similar to Hainanese Steamed Chicken, just that it is eaten together with a plate of bean sprouts. So, it all boils down to the smoothness and tenderness of the steamed chicken to separate itself from the other chicken rice. Lou Wong’s steamed chicken’s skin had this slippery smooth texture and tender yet firm flesh, which was truly terrific.
then about the Bean Sprouts - seasoned with some pepper, light soya sauce and oil. I didn’t find anything special about the taste but their shapes were definitely a bit shorter and fatter than the usual taugeh.

Perak Tong
a limestone cave temple,
is located at Jalan Kuala Kangsar,
6km to the north of Ipoh.
Within the huge limestone caves of Gunung Tasik, nestles the Perak Tong. Built in 1926 by Buddhists priests from China, the temple houses over 40 Buddha statues with the centrepiece being a 12.8-metre high sitting Buddha.

Beside white coffee,
Ipoh old town is also famous for its egg tarts.
We may find it at Nam Heong in old town. Costing RM1.40 each.
The tarts are crispy and creamy! However,
i find it a bit sweety.
